Had a right stage seat tonight. It's been a long time since I've been there - not since they started doing part of the
40's segment over there.
It was pretty cool to have them all right there in front of me. Even more so to have Barry standing right there just
inches away. Wow! When I'm watching it from the other side of the theater it seems to last a long time - but when I
was right in the middle of it, the time seemed to just fly by.
Barry mentioned that he was getting over a cold and had taken Contact, Robitussin and who knows what else. A little
later in the show he got tongue-tied and then said, "I'm not taking any more of that $%#@!" LOL
It was also cool when he came over to choose the dance girl. I got a brief moment of eye contact - talk about butterflies!
For the life of me I can't remember what the ballad was. Was it I Made It Through the Rain? I really can't remember
for some reason. Sorry.
Like being on the other side, it's a different perspective for the show. The lights appear different. The change in
angles of viewing the different parts of the show changes everything about it. I find it interesting, and I'm glad I've
done it a few times. I'll probably never sit there again, but I'm glad I went for the experience. If you're going to
get to see several shows, I really recommend giving it a try just to see what it's like.
I'm afraid this isn't going to be a very detailed review. I've just lost most of the details. Maybe my brain is full
from all the other shows. LOL
